Help Required!
Volunteers Wanted – We are looking for volunteers to scan some of the archive material onto disc, as back up.A long and laborious job, but if you are willing to spend an hour or two, let Martin know.
Skills Register
The spring play highlighted how much we rely on a small number of regulars for set building. It was proposed that we should try to get more people involved. If you have a particular skill that we may not know about (eg woodwork, painting, lighting) perhaps you could let Martin know and we can compile a register and ask people to come along for the appropriate stage of the setbuild, rather than the same people having to come every week.
Social events & Play readings!
We have a few things coming up which people may be interested in, as well as some play readings:
- For the May Social Ryan and Hazel would like to invite you to join us at home – or more precisely in the garden (fingers crossed for the weather!). The date is Saturday 26th May from 6.00pm onwards. They would be grateful if you could bring your own drinks but will put on some food. Please could you let them know by Friday 18th May if you are able to join them.
- Mon 11th June Play Reading 7.30pm, Bridge Hotel ‘When We Are Married by JB Priestley
- Mon 16th July Play Reading, 7.30pm Bridge Hotel Title to be announced.
- Fri 8th June Committee Meeting, 7.30pm Plaza, all welcome.
- Fri 6th July Auditions
- Wed 25th July AGM 7.30pm Plaza.
- Wed 5th-Sat 8th December Autunm Play ‘A Murder is Announced’
- Wed 17th- Sat 20th April 2013 Spring Play
All play readings are at The Bridge Hotel, Thrapston, at 7.30pm, and we are asking for a £3 contribution towards tea/coffee for each reading. Please let Sarah know a week in advance if you are planning to attend.
