TADS are Back!

It has been two years since TADS were last able to put on a play. We stopped rehearsals in March 2020 and since then have sat and wondered when we might be able to perform again, and who might be there to watch us.

It has been a long wait, but TADS are back.

The last two years has sadly taken a toll on our membership, so whilst we reinvigorate the society and prepare for a full TADS production,  we are excited to bring you an interactive Murder Mystery Evening at Thrapston Plaza on November 20th 2021. Tickets are £10 and this will include a fish & chip supper. See this page for details.

Please come along and support us, and enjoy being back in our company.

Government willing, TADS will be back in the Spring to entertain you, so watch this space.

TADS Update

A year ago this month TADS lost one of our long standing members, and one of our biggest personalities, Grahame Nightingale, to cancer.

When he passed we promised that we would send him off in true TADS style. Unfortunately, the continuation of Covid-19 lockdowns have meant that currently the society is still not up and running. Grahame and Dinahs chosen charity was Cynthia Spencer Hospice, if you wish to make...

The passing of a legend

It is with great sadness that we must report the passing of our beloved Grahame Nightingale. Anyone fortunate enough to have “experienced” Grahame in any one of the many, many productions that he has blessed with his talent will appreciate the loss felt by all of us.

In these difficut times we are limited in how we can celebrate such a great man. In due course we will arrange a proper send off in true TADS style, but for now, anyone wishing to may make a contribution to Grahame and Dinahs chosen Charity: Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Spring Play Cancellation

It is with great sadness that Thrapston Amateur Dramatic Society announces the postponement of its Spring Play.

It has not been an easy decision but the wellbeing and safety of our members, volunteers and audiences is our upmost priority and following government advice to limit social gatherings and to close theatres, we feel it would be irresponsible to continue with the production at the current time.

We would encourage you to keep in contact as we want to do our bit to support and entertain our local community and will be looking for ways to do this which are safe for both us and our loyal supporters. Further announcements on the status of future productions will be made as and when we are able to clarify.
