Autumn Update

October 16, 2018, Posted in  News & Events

We at TADS would like to apologise for the lack of updates and information surrounding our recent activities.

A meeting was held to consider whether we should persevere with an Autumn play, and having made the decision to do this we successfully auditioned and cast ‘Just Between Ourselves’ by Alan Ayckbourn.

This initial problem lead to a delay in our usual booking procedure, and although the play dates were already booked we found we were unable to book our normal venue, The Plaza, for any of our required set build dates or technical rehearsals in the way we have pr...

Confusions!

October 24, 2017, Posted in  Uncategorized

Ticket sales are now open for Thrapston Amateur Dramatic Societies’ next production of “Confusions” by Alan Ayckbourn. The show is co-directed by Hazel Wright and James Ager and will be performed “in the round” at the Thrapston Plaza from Wednesday 15th – Saturday 18th November 2017. Doors open at 7pm, performance starts at 7:30pm sharp.

Tickets may be purchased via our Box Office Line on 07...

And Then There Were None

April 12, 2017, Posted in  News & Events

Ticket sales are now open for Thrapston Amateur Dramatic Societies’ next production of “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie. The show is directed by Lisa Punter and will be performed at the Thrapston Plaza from Wednesday 10th – Saturday 13th May 2017. Doors open at 7pm, performance starts at 7:30pm.

Ten strangers, apparently with little in common, are lured to an island mansion off the coast of Devon by the mysterious U.N.Owen. Over dinner a record begins to play, and the voice of an unseen host accuses each person of hiding a guilty secret. That evening, one of the guests is found dead. The tension escalates as the survivors realise that a killer is not only among them but is preparing to strike again… and again…
